The Right Entrepreneurs

YL Ventures invests in companies led by entrepreneurs who:

understand and appreciate the benefits of a hands-on partner that is fully committed to making their company work and has the requisite experience and business network to achieve this;

...are interested in achievable one to two year "medium size" exits at reasonable (yet aggressive!) valuations, not four to seven year mega exits (the probability of which is highly uncertain); and

...are willing to continue working for their company for at least two to three years after acquisition, under the terms of an earn-out or similar incentive mechanism which YL Ventures will help them negotiate.
