Karl Allmark

Karl Allmark is an Associate at YL Ventures, having joined the firm in April 2007 after eighteen years of consulting in the fields of information technology, total systems design, mechanical engineering and business development, applied in diverse industries including private equity, telecoms, media and pharmaceuticals.

Among the companies that Mr. Allmark worked for are ICI, Universal, American Express, Zeneca and Bristol-Myers Squibb.  An entrepreneur himself, Mr. Allmark is the co-founder of CityTechnology, an intellectual property boutique that specializes in commercializing innovative research and development projects.

Mr. Allmark has served on the board of the European Business Angel Network, co-founded the Malta Business Angel Network, and has for the past five years advised numerous entrepreneurs and investors in private equity transactions.  His work has taken him throughout Europe and parts of Asia Pacific.
